Numéro art 15

UGO RONDINONE & TAREK LAKHRISSI  in cover story

This season, the iconic Isabelle Huppert has agreed to accompany Numéro art to the Louvre to revisit its greatest masterpieces. In dialogue with the Mona Lisa, the Victory of Samothrace and the Venus de Milo, the French actress takes on a metamorphosis, interpreting a gallery of striking, charismatic characters in this exclusive series. Also featured in this 14th edition of Numéro art, the exhibition-event of the season with Pierre Huyghe in Venice and a fascinating interview with Martha Jungwirth, the immense abstract painter whose highly expressive canvases are currently being celebrated at the Palazzo Cini in Venice and the Guggenheim Bilbao... not forgetting studio visits by art legend Takesada Matsutani and French art darling Julian Charrière.

Numéro art also features original creations by the world's leading artists. The winner of the prestigious Turner Prize 2023, Jesse Darling, has created an original series with Nanténé Traoré, one of photography's most exciting young talents. And artist David Douard, curator of an exhibition at the Fondation Ricard, has created a mini-fanzine for Numéro art using colorful collages. Numéro art also focuses on the young French scene, with its most promising new talents: Clédia Fourniau, winner of the Prix Reiffers Art Initiatives, Majd Abdel Hamid, Alex Ayed, Garance Früh and Aïcha Snoussi, not forgetting the highly visible young designers of the Hall.haus collective. Finally, this 14th Numéro art has selected the season's must-see exhibitions, from Ellsworth Kelly at the Fondation Louis Vuitton to Matthew Barney at the Fondation Cartier.
