Oscar MURILLO in cover story
The Columbian superstar artist on the cover of Numéro art
The leading international contemporary art magazine followed Oscar Murillo around his Columbian atelier. After a meteoric rise to fame, the artist is being honoured with a new exhibition in Paris. The other cover star of this edition, the young actress Maisie Williams, known for her iconic role as Arya Stark in Games of Thrones, reinterprets great masterpieces for photographer Lee Wei Swee. For Numéro art, the young Briton re-enacts Edvard Munch's The Scream, and Caravaggio's Bacchus. Browse the pages of Numéro art to discover the celebrities and creators who really matter: an exclusive encounter with art's power couple, the founders of the Hauser & Wirth Gallery, Manuela & Iwan Wirth in conversation with the co-president of the Marc Payot institution, an original creation by Martin Margiela on the occasion of his first exhibition as a complete artist, Adrián Villar Rojas and his monumental sculptures of animals and imaginary relics, the designer Martin Szekely and his regular objects that have seduced both François Pinault and the Louvre... And of course, alongside all this, portraits by the legendary Juergen Teller and a fashion shoot by François Quillacq devoted to the up-and-coming French scene.
